The M1 is a major motorway in Ostrobia from Treien to Seblo. It is about 480 km (300 mi) long in total. It was originally built from 1968 to 1974, and opened to traffic on the 20th of February, 1976. This is commonly refered to the West Coast Motorway. It rivals the Western Mainline, a high speed rail route from Treien to Seblo following the M1.

As with all Ostrobian motorways, the speed limit is 100 km/h (62.5 mph). This motorway is unique as the southern section from Kenley to Cuchenhaven is a single carriage section and is most often refered as the most dangerous section of the M1.

The southern part of the M1 is a toll road called the North West Seblo Connector or NWSC
