Ostrobia Day is the official national holiday of Ostrobia. It is celebrated on 5th October, which sides in with the day that Ostrobia declared independence from the United Kingdom in 25th May 1848, which united the Northern Home States, Heblo and the United Yellow Provinces as one state, Ostrobia. It is observed around Ostrobian as well as overseas Ostrobians.

Most communities around the country host organised celebrations for Ostrobia Day, usually outdoor public events such as parades, carnivals, festivals, barbecues, air and maritime shows, fireworks, and free musical concerts. Usually large families gather around and host parties.

An annual military parade is hosted in Treien

In other states without an Ostrobian cultural majority (Stratoherra, Hyenia and Prethenia), the holiday is called Freedom Day and their representative state holidays are its national holidays in those states.
